1. Booking Process

Our bookings are tailored to your requirements and so bookings are subject to availability. For groups the person signing the booking form will have guarantee that he has the authority to accept on behalf of the party our booking terms and conditions. The booking is only confirmed after we receive a written confirmation, at which point the deposit becomes non- refundable. If the balance is not paid on time we reserve the right to cancel the booking, retain your deposit and apply the cancellation charges shown below as if you had cancelled the booking / the price of your trip.

2. Insurance

It is essential and a condition of booking with Red Dust, that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover you before, during and after your trip. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you or any member of your party before, during or after your trip as a consequence of inappropriate or insufficient travel insurance being purchased.


3. Pricing Policies

To book a trip Red Dust Safaris requires a completed booking form and a 20% deposit of the total package, the balance is due no later than 60 days before your trip. Full payment is required if you are booking within 60 days of the trip. In any case if a larger deposit or additional intermediate payment is required by our counterparts or any other variations to our standard terms apply to your trip you will be informed at the time of booking.
Red Dust Safaris reserves the right to alter the price of any trip shown in our brochure or advertised on our website. You will be advised of the current price of your trip before your confirmation.
The price of your trip may change after you have booked with us in case of changes in transportation cost, fuel increases, Park entrance increases, taxes, landing fees and exchange rates we will have no alternative but to pass the extra cost on to you.

4. Cancellation Policies

If you cancel your booking, it must be done in writing and by the person who signed the booking form. Cancellations by email will only be accepted if an acknowledgment is returned to you by Red Dust Safaris.

Cancellation charges may apply as,

  • 60 or more days: deposit only (20%)
  • 59 to 30 days: 60% - refund 40%
  • 29 to 0 days: 100% - No refund

Should one or more members of party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price for those still traveling. Any minor changes before the full payment are done will be charged at a fee of US$ 50.00 per person plus any additional costs incurred. Any amendments after full payment are done will be considered a cancellation and will be liable for the relevant cancellation charges as shown above.
We may have to cancel a booking occasionally due to lack of numbers i.e. for set departures which require a minimum number of passengers for the departure. You will be advised of the booking status before your confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel the trip 60 days before departure and we will refund all your money paid by you.
We do not accept any liability for cancellations or changes to your holiday by circumstances which amount to force majeure, these are events that we could not foresee or avoid. Force majeure events could include war, threats of war, riots, civil strike, natural or industrial disaster, fire, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, health risk, closure or congestion of airports or ports, decisions by Governments or National Park or major authorities, changes of schedules or operational decisions of air carriers, adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond the control of the parties.
